Calling all State Organizers! The National Grassroots Committee (NGC) invites you to an April Training session to kick off Q2 and get all State Organizing Committees (SOCs) on the same page. The meeting will be on April 12 at 4:30pm PST / 7:30pm EST. Here's what to expect:
Q2 STATE CHAPTER MEETINGS- SOCs are preparing to host their first SOC-led state chapter meeting. With this in mind, the NGC would like to review best practices, agenda submission process, and ensure each SOC is set up for success.
PRIMARY FIRST- SOCs are currently internally tracking candidates and monitoring races in their respective states. The NGC will be presenting next steps for the P1st initiative, reviewing guidelines, and highlight current progress.
SLACK UPDATE- The National Slack Community is being launched in April. At this meeting, the NGC will be explaining how to best leverage the Slack Channel to advance each state chapter.
Q&A- The NGC will be taking questions from State Organizers to ensure everyone is on the same page.
If you cannot attend, please let your NGC POC know. We will ensure you get the powerpoint or schedule a follow-up zoom session. As always, thank you for your time and commitment to the movement. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Any and all questions can be directed to our NGC Member, Kalah Espinoza at [email protected]
