YES, you can make a difference in the primary election!  This state makes it very easy, as it does not have a party registration law -- meaning anyone can vote in the Republican primary, regardless of party affiliation. Rest assured, you do NOT have to change your belief system or politics to participate in the primary of a party with which you do not personally identify. Further, you also can vote for whomever you feel is the best candidate in the general election -- whether that's a Republican or someone else.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: May 9, 2022

Register here: https://www.sos.alabama.gov/alabama-votes/voter/register-to-vote

DATE OF PRIMARY: May 24, 2022

Please be aware of the crossover rule.

If there are three (3) or more candidates in a primary race, and if no one receives a majority of the votes cast, then a second Primary Election, or Runoff Election, is held between the two (2) candidates who receive the highest number of votes in the first Primary. The winner of this Runoff Election will be the party nominee.

According to Act #2017-340, Section 2(a), if an elector votes in a Primary Election, that elector may vote in a subsequent Primary Runoff Election only if they voted in the Primary Election of the same political party for which the Runoff Election is being held. Voters who did not vote in a Primary Election, may choose either party’s ballot in a Primary Runoff Election. Explanation: If you vote in the Democratic Primary Election, you may only vote in the Democratic Runoff Election. You may not cross over and vote in the Republican Runoff Election.

VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED

In 2020, Alaskans voted to adopt sweeping election reforms, including Open Primaries and Ranked-Choice voting. Country First believes these important reforms will help ensure the victor of the election is representative of reasonable people of goodwill in the state.  Therefore, we encourage Alaskans to vote their values and AGAINST any candidate who fails to stand up to the Big Lie in the 2022 primary election. We also invite you to volunteer with Country First to make a difference in other states.

YES, you can make a difference in the primary election!  This state makes it a little harder, as it has a "partially open" primary system -- meaning a voter seeking to vote in the Republican primary election cannot belong to a different party. This means you can vote in the Republican primary if you are a) a registered Republican OR b) are an unaffiliated voter. However, if you are a Democrat or member of another party, you can simply change your voter registration status to Unaffiliated and participate in the Republican primary election. *** Indiana election law stipulates that in order to participate in a party’s primary, a voter must have either voted for a majority of that party’s nominees in the last general election or must intend to vote for a majority of the party’s nominees in the upcoming general election. In practice, however, secret balloting makes this provision of the law unenforceable. This creates an open primary system in which voters can participate in the primary election of their choice.

Country First is going to be channeling our time, talent, and treasure to take on and take out the most toxic partisans – elected leaders who tried to overturn our election, overthrow our republic, and who still today defend and minimize the deadly attack on our Capitol.

One thing most of these candidates have in common is that they’re in what we call “safe” seats – congressional districts drawn so that there’s almost no chance the other party can defeat them in the general election, no matter how awful they are.

So how do you take on these toxic tribal chieftans in “safe” seats?  You strike them in the primary.  And we have a very strong, very compelling strategy to make things very difficult for them.  These are people who are used to skating by, and can usually funnel their campaign cash to help elect other toxic partisans.  Not this time.  We will give our country the best chance it’s had to clean house – before we even get to November.

We hope this is exciting to hear, and know you’ll be even more pumped when you see the unique details, and have the same “a-ha” moment we all had when we unlocked this strategy. This operation is sure to attract major media attention, too, which will only help us be more successful. The potential is huge, and there’s a way for everyone to get involved.  We hope you will!

Help us launch this bold operation with a year-end gift today!  Thank you.
