Country First Statement on Brad Raffensperger Victory in Georgia
WASHINGTON, DC – Following the results of the Georgia primary election, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) released the statement below touting the victory of Country First endorsed candidate Brad Raffensperger for Georgia Secretary of State over a Trump-backed challenger.
“Last night, the people of Georgia took a stand against former President Donald Trump and it spoke volumes. Especially when Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who refused to commit election fraud for President Trump in 2020 despite Trump's urging him to ‘find the votes’ in Georgia, won his re-election against a Trump-endorsed challenger. Not only did Brad win outright, but he won with 2.3 times the votes that Trump-endorsed gubernatorial candidate David Perdue received in total! It’s a big win and a major victory for Country First to see our efforts make an impact.
