Free speech means free speech, and that commitment is essential to a healthy, self-correcting democracy. Protecting the rights of others to speak, even when we strongly disagree, is how we preserve our own freedom to speak tomorrow. And despite promises to unconditionally protect the First Amendment, the White House has led a dangerous crackdown against the right of the media, school systems, broadcasting channels, and others to Free Speech.
