Country First Book Club

Virtual link will be sent upon RSVP

As a leader in the pro-democracy movement, Country First is committed to educating and engaging Americans from all across the political spectrum. The Country First Book Club talks about books highlighting the very issues Country First is taking head on and allows everyone to leave more inspired and informed after connecting with a community of democracy-loving Americans.

Join us virtually on July 25, 2024 at 7pm ET to hear from the author of The Primary Solution: Rescuing our Democracy from the FringesNick Troiano, as he explains how the biggest solvable problem fueling political extremism is party primaries.

Nick Troiano is the founding Executive Director of Unite America, a philanthropic venture fund that invests in nonpartisan election reform to foster a more representative and functional government. These reforms, like opening primaries to all voters, aim to bridge the growing partisan divide and elect candidates who put people over party. Running for Congress in 2014 in Pennsylvania as an Independent, Nick Troiano drew national attention as the youngest candidate and the most successful independent of the cycle.
